Charity Collab Kit for Haiti : AYITI

This collaborative kit named AYITI (Creole name of Haiti), was created to help the people of Haiti after the horrible earthquake that struck this small country on January 12, 2010.
Timounette, whose children were born in Haiti, asked several designers to create this fabulous kit. 26 designers answered her call, and thanks to them was born this prodigious kit which will satisfy both traditional, and clean and simple scrappers. There’s something here for everybody!
The funds collected through the sale of this kit will be entirely forwarded to two groups who work directly in Haiti; this is money that will go directly to Haitians.
This money will help:
– the inhabitants of Jacmel, a small town in the south of the country which was badly impacted and awaits funding for reconstruction, thanks to the ACEM group.
– and the Angel House orphanage where Timounette‘s children lived, which houses more than 70 children awaiting adoption in Port au Prince. Their building was completely destroyed, and the children are living in a tent city.

Timounette has promised to keep you up-to-date on the funds that have been gathered, and the way in which these funds are being used, through her blog.

All the designers thank you for helping to participate in the rebuilding of Haiti.

Ce kit AYITI Collab kit for Haïti a été créé pour venir en aide aux haïtiens suite au terrible tremblement de terre qui a frappé ce petit pays le 12 janvier 2010.
Timounette, dont les enfants sont nés en Haïti a sollicité des designeuses pour créer ce fabuleux kit. 26 ont répondu à l’appel, et grâce à elles vous avez devant vous un énorme kit qui satisfera les scrappeuses tradi et CS. Il y en a pour tous les goûts !
L’argent provenant de l’achat de ce kit sera intégralement reversé à deux associations qui œuvrent directement en Haïti. La totalité des sommes ainsi récoltées seront disponibles pour les haïtiens.
Nous aiderons ainsi :
– Les habitants de Jacmel, petite ville du sud d’Haïti qui a été très sévèrement touchée et qui attend les aides pour reconstruire, grâce à l’association ACEM.
– L’orphelinat « La maison des Anges » où ont vécu les enfants de Timounette, qui hébergent plus de 70 enfants en attente d’adoption à Port au Prince. L’orphelinat s’est effondré et les enfants vivent dans des tentes de secours…

Timounette s’engage à vous faire part des sommes récoltées et de la façon dont ces fonds sont utilisés, via son blog.

Toutes les designeuses vont remercient de participer ainsi à la reconstruction d’Haïti.

Tricktionary by Pink Reptile Designs. So cool !

Today, Pink Reptile Designs released a really REALLY cool kit, TRICKTIONARY, conceived to scrap the best shots of your favorite teenagers, but the colors are so beautiful and the papers so nice you can easily find your own special way to use it. In my case, I don’t have teenagers at home so I scraped my friends’ teenagers LOL. Soon they are going to hate me for scraping them so often and I will probably won’t be allowed to post their pictures (you know how teenagers can be !) so  I really have to make the most of the nice pictures I have NOZ !! LOL. The second page is really for the fun of it and to show how cool are the elements of this kit. It’s a free photo from the net but it was perfect for my plan and I’m really really REALLY happy with my job : extraction, out-borders !!! You name it !!! LOL Oh ! By the way ! You remember, right ? This is my virtual home so I am allowed to show off and through myself flowers ROFL.

Aujourd’hui, Pink Reptile Designs a sorti un kit très TRES cool, TRICKTIONARY, et qui a été conçu pour scraper les plus belles photos de vos ados préférés, mais les couleurs sont tellement belles et les papiers si chouettes que vous pourrez facilement trouver votre façon personnelle de les scraper.Dans mon cas, je n’ai pas d’ados à la maison alors j’ai scrapé ceux de mes amis hi hi hi. Bientôt ils vont vraiment me haïr pour les scraper si souvent et je n’aurai plus le droit de poster leurs photos (vous savez comment sont les ados !) donc je dois profiter de celles que j’ai MAINTENANT !! ha ha ha. La deuxième page est vraiment pour le plaisir de scraper ce kit et montrer combien les éléments sont cools. C’est une photo gratuite du net mais elle était parfaite pour mon idée et je suis vraiment vraiment VRAIMENT contente de moi : détourement, hors-cadre, vous choisissez !! Ha ha ha ! Oh, au fait ! Vous vous rappelez hein ? Je suis dans ma maison virtuelle donc j’ai le droit de faire la fière et de ma jetter des fleurs !!!! Muha ha ha !!!

Today I’m really proud and happy to tell you that Mirjam from Pink Reptile Designs ask me, the little ME, to scrap in her team !! Yey !! Erika a.k.a. Doodlebop did tell her she should take me into her team so thank you again and again Erika for your very nice gesture. It was a wonderful surprise and I felt so flattered !! You can’t imagine !! Thank you of course Mirjam for trusting me with your beautiful creations. Some of you might think I’m crazy to take on another CT but Mirjam did make it sound very attractive thanks to the “at least 2 weeks preparation” so I thought that on top of scraping with her great stuffs I would have very much time to make nice pages. To resume, I couldn’t resist !! I’ve been on a cloud since then. So today, I would like to show you those 2 pages I had a great time making with her new kit “Boy Story”. At first, I was a bit worried because it’s a boys’ kit after all and well… I don’t have any “boys” 😆 . So I simply used the boys I had in my pictures : the big boy is mine of course but the other boy is the second son of my friends in France. I’m quite happy with my page and I even managed to write a story about those pictures, which is not often the case with me. I usually stick to a simple title and avoid long text 😆 Funny because I’m such a chatterbox when it comes to my blog, huh ! 😆 Anyway, this kit is a real treat and you should chek it out !! To celebrate those first pages I thought I’d give you the template of my first page as I’m quite fond of it and I thought some other people might like it too 😉

Aujourd’hui je suis très heureuse et fière de vous annoncer que Mirjam de Pink Reptile Designs m’a demandé à moi, la petite MOI, de scraper dans son équipe !! Youpi !! Erika alias Doodlebop lui a soufflé dans l’oreille de me prendre dans son équipe donc je la remercie du fond du coeur pour son geste très très gentil. C’était une surprise fantastique et je me sens super flattée !! Vous pouvez pas imaginer !! Merci bien sûr à Mirjam de me faire confiance. Certains d’entre-vous vont peut-être penser que je suis folle de prendre une autre CT mais Mirjam a présenté ça de manière très attirante à savoir qu’il y a “au moins” 2 semaines pour scraper ses pages alors, en plus de pouvoir travailler avec de superbes kits, j’ai pas pu résister !!! Je suis sur un nuage depuis ! Ajourd’hui donc voilà les 2 pages que j’ai pu faire avec ce nouveau kit “Boy Story”

. J’étais un peu inquiète tout de même au début car je n’ai pas de “garçon” à la maison 😆 . J’ai donc tout simplement utilisé les “boys” que j’avais en photo : le grand c’est bien sûr le mien de “garçon”, mais le  plus jeune c’est le fils cadet de mes amis en France. Au final, je suis pas mal satisfaite de ma page et j’ai même réussit à raconter l’histoire de ces photos, ce qui est bien rare avec moi car en général je me contente d’un titre tout simple et j’évite les longs textes. Bizarre, étant donné le fait que je sois si bavarde sur mon blog hein 😆 Bref, ce kit est très chouette et vous devriez aller le voir de plus près !! Pour fêter ces premières pages, je me suis dis aussi que je vous offrirais le template de ma première page, comme elle me plaît beaucoup personnellement peut-être que d’autres personnes aussi l’aimeront 😉
