No, this isn’t a commercial for a certain fast food restaurant but my first thought for a title for today’s pages : clean and simple for the Publiscrap Forum. I feel like I’m slowly but surely finding my way into C&S style and loving it more and more. Hope you’ll like my pages too.

Non, ce n’est pas une pub pour un certain resto fast food, en tous cas ici au Japon ça fait partie de toutes  leurs pubs à la télé. En France je sais pas ce qu’ils disent pour vous donner envie d’en manger mais bon c’est pas le thème du jour. C’est donc bien les mots qui me sont venus à l’esprit en cherchant un titre pour le poste d’aujourd’hui. Je sens que, doucement mais sûrement, je trouve mon chemin dans le C&S et j’aime de plus en plus ça. J’espère que vous aussi vous aimerez mes pages.

First of all, one page I’m especially proud of and made with pictures taken in Okinawa. It was for a template challenge and it is again a template by Zizazzi. Yes ! She has great templates so what do you expect !! LOL

Tout d’abord une page dont je suis particulièrement fière et en même temps un souvenir de notre week-end à Okinawa. Pour un challenge template. Encore un template de Zizazzi !! Et oui ! Elle en fait des supers alors forcément !! MDR

Explications Shissa(French) : elles étaient très proches de ce que l’on m’a dit lors de mon séjour là-bas alors je les ai inclus quasiment telles quelles dans ma page.

English translation : Shissa, Okinawa’s gargoyles
In Okinawa’s folklore there is a creature that comes from China and is named Shisa or Shisa lion. This creature is represented in the shape of little, or bigger, statues that stand in gardens, on houses’ roofs or also guarding the entrance of homes. The Shisa is very similar to the gargoyles decorating churches and cathedrals in Europe. They usually come in pairs : a female Shisa with an open mouth to invite good luck  in, and a male Shisa with a mouth closed to keep that same good luck inside. During my week-end at nago, I wanted to experience pottery and on the small picture you can see on the left, the model Shisa and on the right mine. Not bad, huh ?! Less scary than the big ones, but with a big mouth open to let plenty of  good luck come in.

For another template challenge, but at the time I forgot to post it. I took that opportunity to create a birthday card.  Pour un autre challenge template, mais j’avais oublié de la posté. J’en ai profité pour faire une carte d’anniversaire, comme vous l’aurez déjà compris en lisant.
