Yesterday (April 5th) was our 7th anniversary and here is a little page I maid for a challenge I launched at Publiscrap : scrap a number. Nanibouelle inspired me to scrap this number. Thanks for that Nani ! It is the number of years since we had our wedding ceremony in Korea. Officially our wedding date is June 6th as we had to sign papers at the Japanese city hall but no ceremony then, so a bit sad actually. The Japanese city hall is very boring indeed as it is really just signing papers and that’s it. No mayor, no clapping hands. At least not in our city hall. Maybe smaller city halls are a little more caring for their fellow citizens. So the traditional ceremony in Korea is  the first time we got married really. We had a ceremony in France too of course and we also celebrate that day 😉 There are never too many occasions to celebrate right ?!

Hier (5 avril) c’était notre 7ème anniversaire de mariage et voici une petite page que j’ai faite pour un challenge lancé par moi-même à Publiscrap : scraper un nombre. Nanibouelle m’a inspirée avec sa page et donné l’idée de ce nombre. Merci Nani ! C’est le nombre d’années passées depuis notre cérémonie en Corée. Officiellement notre date de mariage est le 6 juin car nous avons signé les papiers à ce moment-là dans notre mairie mais pas de dérémonie, un peu triste même. La mairie japonaise est un peu ennuyeuse pour ça et c’est vraiment seulement signer des papiers et c’est tout. Pas de maire, pas d’applaudissements. C’est en tous cas ce qu’il s’est passé dans notre mairie. Peut-être que les e;ploy2s des mairies plus provinciales sont plus démonstratifs vis à vis de leurs chers concitoyens. Donc, la cérémonie en Corée est vraiment la première fois que nous nous sommes mariés. On a eu une cérémonie en France aussi et on la fête également. On ne fait jamais trop la fête, pas vrai ?!

昨日、４月５日は私達の結婚記念日でした。韓国で結婚式の時の写真をスクラップしてみました。本当は６月６日に日本の区役所で書類をサインしましたがあまりにも寂しい感じでしたので、韓国で行った日付で祝っています。日本では、市長など出てくれませんし、職員達もなにもしてくれませんでした。田舎だったら、握手するかもしれませんけど、式はありませんね。残念です。フランスにも結婚式しました。その記念も祝いますね。嬉しい記念を祝いすぎることはないと思いますよ。へへへ。

Latest pages and my next freebie sneak peek

Today I have a few new pages and I thought I’d join a sneak peak of my next freebie kit. I don’t hide it, I had the idea when I saw Valé’s blog when she showed us her sneak peak of her first freebie kit (you can find it here by the way). I thought it was a nice idea and because this freebie kit took me some time and some thinking, you will have to earn it by coming here often. Mu ha ha ha ! More next week but I won’t tell you when because I’m not sure myself. Enjoy the sneak peak.

Aujourd’hui j’ai quelques nouvelles pages et j’ai pensé vous joindre un petit bout de mon prochain kit freebie. Je ne le cache pas, j’ai eu l’idée en voyant le blog de Valé où elle nous montrait un sneak peak de son premier kit freebie (que vous pouvez trouver ici d’ailleurs). Celui-là m’a pris pas mal de temps et de cogite alors il faudra que vous veniez souvent sur mon blog pour le mériter. Mu ha ha ha ! Plus de détails la semaine prochaine mais je ne sais pas encore quand. J’espère que le preview titillera votre curiosité.

A little page for my mum as she always takes the time to make me beautiful things with cross-stitching. The picture was taken with a portable phone so it’s not really good but I love it.

Une petite page pour ma maman car elle prend toujours le temps de me faire de belles choses au point de croix. La photo a été prise avec un téléphone portable donc elle n’est pas très bonne mais je l’aime bien.

いつも時間をかけて素敵なものをクロスステッチで作ってくれるから、母の為にこの一ページを作りました。写真は携帯電話で撮ったので、画質があまり良くないですが好きです。

English : I took this picture when I went to Kyoto for the umpteenth time. It’s one of my favorite destinations and I can’t remember how many times I’ve been there. I do remember the date though, because my parents and my brother came for the first time to Japan and I decided to offer them a little stay at Kyoto. First time in Kyoto, a visit to the Golden Pavilion is a must do.
On this picture, I really love the reflect in the pond. Nevertheless, the Golden Pavilion is not one of my favorite places in Kyoto because even though there is this beautiful building, there is not much else to see in the little park around it. Other temples, on top of their architectural beauty, are surrounded by beautiful parks but it might be the topic of another scrap page.
