K.A. Project : new name, new adventure

Today is the release day of the kit REMEMBER, and it is also the day MIA Designs changes name and become K.A. PROJECT. As you may remember, I answered a guest CT call at MIA Designs some time ago. Well, when they asked us if we wanted to stay in their CT as they were planning to change their designer’s name, without no hesitations I decided to stay. They have beautiful simple style kits and it would have be a shame for me not to take this opportunity. So I wish them best of success and thank them again for letting me be a regular member of the team !

Here are the 2 pages I made with this beautiful kit. It was the perfect kit to scrap my grand-parents wedding picture, don’t you think ? I barely edited the picture so this is real vintage !! And I also took this opportunity to scrap a picture of my friend Dorota who encouraged me to answer the guest CT call in the first place. Thank you again Doti for being such a good and supportive friend.

Aujourd’hui est le jour de sortie du kit REMEMBER, et c’est aussi le jour où MIA Designs change de nom et devient K.A. PROJECT. Comme vous vous en souvenez peut-être, j’ai répondu à l’appel Guest CT (Invités Equipe Créative) de MIA Designs il y a quelques temps. Et bien, quand elles nous ont demandé si nous souhaitions rester dans leur équipe alors qu’elles avaient l’intention de changer leur nom de créatrices, je n’ai pas hésité une seconde et décidé de rester. Elles ont un superbe style de kits C&S et ça aurait été une honte pour moi de ne pas saisir cette chance. Je leur souhaite donc beaucoup de succès et je les remercie de me permettre d’être une créatrice régulière pour elles !

Voici les 2 pages que j’ai faites avec ce kit. C’était le kit parfait pour scraper la photo de mariage de mes grands-parents, vous ne trouvez pas ? J’ai à peine touché à la photo donc c’est du vrai vintage !! Et je voulais aussi en profiter pour scraper une photo de mon amie Dorota qui m’a encouragée à répondre à cet appel à guest en premier lieu. Merci encore Doti d’être une si bonne amie et de me supporter.

今日は REMEMBERキットの発売日です。それと、MIA Designs の名前が変わる日でもある：これからK.A. PROJECTになります. なかなか前に久利えてぃ部チームゲストとしてのコールに応募した後、デザイナーの二人はチームの皆さんに新しい名前になってから残りたいですかと聞いたときに、遠慮せずにはいと答えた。とても素晴らしいクリーン＆シンプルスタイルのキットなので素晴らしい機会だと思って、もっと付き合っていきたいと思いました。最高の成功をお祈りします。それと、その新しいプロジェクトに参加させていただいて感謝しています。

こちらはその新しいキットを使ったページです。おじいちゃんとおばあちゃんの結婚写真をスクラップするのにピッタリです。そう思いませんか？ほとんど写真を編集していません。本当のビンテージです！！それと、もともとそのデザイナーさんのゲストコールに応募したきっかけになった友達の写真をスクラップしようと思いました。Dorotaという方です。本当にいい友達で、いつも応援してくれるためありがたいです。

“Paris, je t’aime” by LETISCRAP

Letiscrap has released a beautiful kit about one of the most beautiful capital in the world : Paris !!! No no, I don’t say that because I’m French !! Besides I’m from Brittany (“far-west” of France 😉 ) so I don’t especially like big towns, but it is really a beautiful town with so much cultural sites, and romantic too, don’t you think ? This gorgeous kit gave me the opportunity to scrap some old pictures that would have probably just stayed in my HD for ages before I make something out of them. Plus, I played with Lightroom to give a vintage touch to my pictures. What do you think ?!

Letiscrap a sorti un superbe kit avec pour thème une des plus belles capitales du monde : Paris !!! Non non, je dis pas ça parce que je suis française !! De plus, je suis de Bretagne donc je n’aime pas particulièrement les grandes villes, mais c’est vraiment une belle ville et il y a tellement de sites culturels, et romantique aussi, vous ne trouvez pas ? Ce magnifique kit m’a donné l’occasion de scraper de vieilles photos qui seraient sans doute restées enfouies dans mon disque dur des années sans que j’en fasse jamais rien. De plus, je me suis encore amusée avec Lightroom pour donner un côté vintage à mes photos. Qu’en pensez-vous ?!

English : You and me in Paris – It was your first trip to France. We went back home to announce our intention to get married the following year. Before coming back to Japan, we stayed a few days in Paris. Despite a bad memory in a taxi, we managed to enjoy the beautiful Christmas decorations and of course visited the Louvre. So many memories!

Pimprenel : Carnaval Collab

Pimprenel and some designers of the boutique Scraptaboutic collaborated on a kit called Carnaval. No need to explain what theme it is about ;). I didn’t have any carnaval pictures but as you can see you can scrap any other theme you want.

Pimrenel et des créatrices de la boutique Scraptaboutic ont collaboré pour créer un kit appelé Carnaval. Pas besoin de vous expliquer le thème du kit ;). Je n’avais pas de photo de carnaval mais comme vous pouvez le voir, on peut très bien scraper sur d’autres thèmes.

English : I love this picture of the roof protecting a big bell next to a temple (I’m specific because it is not a temple but still it is a beautiful roof). For New Year, Japanese buy lucky charms to protect them during the new year, but they also come to burn the old lucky charms of the previous year and it is done on the 7th of January. On this picture, taken by night, you can guess how intense the fire was burning a few meters away: it’s were the Japanese were throwing their new year’s decorations and old lucky charms. I didn’t use a flash and barely edited this picture. Even though it is a bit grainy, I wanted to share with you.
